Hi! I’m Nicola van Woerkom the sourceress behind Spell Copy.

I’m a highly inquisitive, neuro-diverse empath, which funnily enough, are perfect attributes to have as a copywriter.

And yes! I believe in magic. Particularly the power that words can have on people.

Nothing excites me more than researching something new. No matter your subject, I’ll find it curiously intriguing, diving deep into the facts that will make your product or service sparkle amongst the crowd.

Thanks to my ADHD, I have a keen eye for detail (hence how I managed to swerve a diagnosis for 38 years) and a super power known as ‘hyper focus’. If chaos is happening around me, I’ll be too absorbed in writing to notice. So, if there’s a natural disaster, you’re guaranteed top quality copy when you need it.

Formally a secondary school science teacher, I’m skilled at adapting my tone to suit the target audience. Trust me, teaching photosynthesis to children is very different from explaining it to young adults.

And being an empath, I am really good at placing myself in people’s heads to understand their motivations and desires. I’ll really pin point the benefits you are offering in order to persuade your clients to act.
